RE Himalayan – Sleet Edition

The bookings for Royal Enfield Himalayan Sleet Edition have started online today (12.1.18) and the sale shall last till 30th January,2018. The Sleet Edition is priced at INR 2,12,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi) i.e. it is INR 28,000 costlier than the standard Himalayan.

The Sleet Edition is basically a grey-camouflage colour scheme inspired from the Himalayas, the home of this entry level adventurer. But, it isn’t just a mere paint job. The bike is upgraded with off road style handlebars with cross brace and bar end dampers, explorer kit which consists of water resistant aluminium panniers (26 litres) and pannier mounting rails and powder-coated engine guard. If the bike has caught your attention and you have made up your mind to buy it, make sure that you do it asap. The production will be restricted to 500 units only and can be yours at a booking amount of just INR 5,000 ( standard booking amount charged by Royal Enfield). Please note that the sales will be on first come – first serve basis and exclusively online which gives the interested customers a very small time frame to book the motorcycle.

All other technical specifications remain the same for the Sleet Edition as well as there are no mechanical changes done to the vehicle. It is anticipated that a bigger sibling of this motorcycle will be launched at some time later this year. The Royal Enfield claims to have improved the rear braking system.
